The Bongos Disc Sports Club are very proud to be hosting this
year's BDGA Doubles Matchplay tournament.
The Doubles Matchplay tournament 'headlines' the event and
the Bongos have introduced a few tasty 'support acts' to complete
the bill.
Headlining........'The Disc Golf Doubles Matchplay'
The annual Disc Golf Doubles Matchplay tournament is very
popular and has a unique competition atmosphere. The
team matchplay format guarantees exciting disc golf action,
high pressure putts and David versus Goliath match ups. Furthermore
players can look forward to a new disc golf course and a new
venue.
The
first round of match ups tee off Saturday morning and the
competition continues through the weekend until the final
on Sunday afternoon.
Supported
By........'The Disc Sports Day Pass'
The Bongos have initiated the 'Disc Sports Day Pass'(DSDP)
- a plan to broaden the appeal of this weekend by providing
the means and opportunity to play disc golf and other disc
sports, on this occasion double
disc court (DDC) and goaltimate.
The Bongos figured that there are so many great ultimate
events happening around the UK they'd give lesser known disc
sports some airtime!
This
format also allows players the freedom to choose on which
day they'd prefer to take part - Saturday or Sunday (or both
days).
Distance
Competition
Don't miss the chance to prove your arm. The distance
competition is open to everyone and there will be an Ultrastar
division and golf disc division.
New
Venue
The Green Park Centre in Aylesbury is hosting the weekend's
action.
This 'gem' of a venue is well facilitated for a great weekend
of flying disc action.
The 80 acre site has restricted public accesss, the grounds
are immaculate and the facilities include a swimming pool
and a purpose built camp site.
Everyone

Everyone is welcome to enter and you are not required to be
a member of the British Disc Golf Association.
BDGA members receive a discounted entry fee to the Doubles
Matchplay tournament.
