The Bongos Disc Sports Club are again very proud to be hosting
this year's BDGA Doubles Matchplay tournament.
BDGA Disc Golf Doubles Matchplay
The annual Disc Golf Doubles Matchplay tournament is very
popular and has a unique competition atmosphere. The
team matchplay format guarantees exciting disc golf action,
high pressure putts and David versus Goliath match ups.
The
weekend is the finale of the 6 event Doubles Winter Series
currently running. Winter

This
is the 3rd disc golf tournament at Green Park and the second
time it has hosted the Doubles Matchplay. There are two 12
hole courses to be played over the weekend, with baskets.
The
first round of match ups tee off Saturday morning and the
competition continues through the weekend until the final
on Sunday afternoon.
Don't
worry if you don't have a doubles partner, the tournament
committee will endeavour to match up players without a partner.

Footbag
The Bongos have booked the sports hall and are welcoming
footbaggers together for the first meet of it kind in many
a year. There will be freestyle, circle kicking and net sessions.
There has been a lot of interest from the footbag community.

Double
Disc Court (DDC)
The Bongos also welcome DDCers to take part in the weekend.
The Bongos love a bit of DDC and feel that the game is deserving
of a regular fixture in the disc events calendar.
Pitches will be marked out and the competition format will
be dependent on player numbers.

Pass
The Day Pass aims to broaden the appeal of this weekend by
providing more flexiblility to people who want to play disc
golf and DDC, but can't play on both days. more

Competition
Don't miss the chance to prove your arm. The distance
competition takes place on Sunday afternnon. It is free to
enter and open to everyone. Last year's best was 127.5m thrown
by Sammy Neilsen.
Venue
- The Green Park Centre
The Green Park Centre in Aylesbury is hosting the weekend's
action.
This 'gem' of a venue is well facilitated for a great weekend
of flying disc action.
The 80 acre site has restricted public accesss, the grounds
are immaculate and the facilities include a swimming pool,
on-site residential blocks + purpose built camp site.

Welcome
Everyone is welcome to enter and you are not required to be
a member of the British Disc Golf Association.
BDGA and UK Ultimate members receive a discounted entry fee.
