Doubles Matchplay Format

The Doubles Matchplay is a regular and popular fixture on the British Disc Golf Association Tour. There are 12 competitions on this year's BDGA Tour, the Doubles is the second. Everyone is welcome to take part, you don't have to be a member of the BDGA to take part.

Matchplay Definition
Doubles matchplay is competition in which teams of two players try to win individual holes, irrelevant of the number of shots it takes them to do it in.
The winning team wins more holes than are left to play.

Format
The exact format for the Doubles Matchplay will be decided closer to the day. The final format will depend on the number of players that register.

It is likely that teams will be grouped into pools with EVERY team playing 5 rounds of matchplay on a 12 hole course.

The 4 best teams will go into a semi final, followed by the final.
